Wentworth Police Department Office Closed

Dear Wentworth Residents and Business Owners,

Due to the extensive impact of the COVID-19Virus, and in adhering to the recommended and suggested safety guidelines set forth by the State of New Hampshire, and Government agencies such as the CDC and HSEM, effective todays date, March 19th 2020, the Wentworth Police Department is physically closed to the public in attempt to create the social distancing needed in order to help fight and eradicate this terrible virus.

The Wentworth Police Department will be handling priority calls only. Emergency and priority calls should be directed to 911 if it is an immediate emergency. If you feel that it is a priority call then please forward it to our dispatch center at 1-603-787-6202 and they will see that an officer on duty or on call gets back to you.

All other calls for service or inquiries should be directed to our police department answering service at 1-603-764-5912 or can be sent to us via e-mail at Wentworth.nh.pd@gmail.com

Please know and understand that this does not mean that your police department is not and will not be available to you, it simply means that we are minimizing our social interaction and your social interaction to better ensure the safety of our community as a whole.

Please know that this situation is an ever evolving situation and is changing on a daily basis and in some circumstances even on an hourly basis.

As your Chief of Police I want to thank you all in advance for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time. I am confidant that collectively, working together with our local, state, and federal partners, that we will overcome this adversity. Please be safe and take care of one another.
